THE ROLE

Supporting our Commercial Managers, you will assist in all aspects affecting commercial performance by identifying commercial opportunities, clarifying issues including commercial value, providing recommendations and implementing agreed changes.

Working as part of a team you will help drive the success of new initiatives and optimise commercial performance across all our products. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment that embraces change, giving you the chance to use your own initiative and work with a variety of resources to identify business prospects. The pace and variety of this role will give you great opportunities to achieve your own personal development objectives and we will support you every step of the way with this.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Supporting the commercial managers to optimise opportunities
  • Utilising data and insight to build an understanding of performance to identify opportunities
  • Effectively communicating data/process analysis to key stakeholders using a variety of mediums
  • Maintaining detailed records of all commercial activity
  • Assisting in driving initiatives into the business
  • Reporting on performance against expectations
  • Investigating areas of commercial concern
  • Conducting process reviews and making recommendations for improvement
  • Developing effective reporting to help support decision making

THE PERSON

You'll need to be a confident communicator who is ready to work with stakeholders at all levels - from advisors to senior managers. You'll be passionate about what you do and keen to make your mark in a brand-new role. Whilst previous experience working within a Commercial Team, or experience within the Telecoms/Utilities/B2B Sales industry is advantageous it is not strictly necessary as full training will be provided for this role.

  • Organised approach to work with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Good attention to detail with an exceptional level of accuracy
  • Self-starter and confident in taking responsibility
