Responsibilities include: -

• To lead the Finance Team and implement the disciplines needed to meet strict reporting deadlines.

• To ensure the Finance workload is reviewed and important financial reporting / auditable tasks are kept up to date.

• To provide information and analysis to support the Company's KPI ethos.

• Ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures. Produce the quarterly VAT return.

• Production of monthly intrastat and EC sales listings in a timely manner and ensuring consistency with VAT returns.

• Ensure weekly/monthly balance sheet reconciliations are produced on time, with issues immediately actioned.

• Ensure the monthly management accounts can be generated in a timely manner.

• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all new or disposed of items are treated in a timely manner.

• Oversee the production of subsidiary monthly accounts.

• The ability to look for better ways to complete tasks - keeping the Finance team at the forefront of IT/ERP enhancements.

• Creating a team ethic and continuous development of the Finance team to meet the needs of an ever-changing business.

• Be the day to day contact with external Auditors.

• Liaise with operations manager to maintain an investment register detailing Research and development expenditure for Corporation tax purposes.
