Part Time Financial Controller

Hays are currently exclusively recruiting for a part time financial controller based in Bath.


Your new company
Hays are currently working with a Bath based client to recruit a part time Financial Controller. Your new company has a portfolio of commercial property across the South West. Their friendly team are now looking for a qualified accountant to join the team on a part time basis.

Your New Role
In your new role you will support the business with all accountancy related matters. This will involved quarterly management accounts and forecasts, updating the Managing Director and property team with any discrepancies. You will also have to monitor and advise staff on VAT compliance on a continuous basis. In addition you will be required to prepare statutory accounts, liaising with auditors where required, monitor the outsourced payroll function and support the business as and when required.

What you will need to succeed
Our client is looking for an experienced, qualified accountant that is looking for a new exciting challenge. Ideally you will have experience working in commercial property sector and be comfortable working as part of a small friendly team.

What you will get in return
They are looking to offer the candidates part time hours (2 / 3 days per week) to suit the individual whether that be across 5 mornings or full days. Other benefits will apply.
