Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are building a new audit team and are looking for a Senior Auditor who can come in and hit the ground running, be innovative, advisory focused and can add value to the organisation.
You will be conducting assurance reviews from end to end, including planning, field work and reporting.
You will be a great communicator and capable of building strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will become a subject matter expert across a wide range of MPI initiatives and be able to pick up concepts easily and make valuable contributions to management.
In this role you will support your manager with advising management on control effectiveness, change initiatives, emerging risks, and business effectiveness using the three lines of defence model.
Occasional travel may be required to conduct audits across MPI's NZ operational sites.

Mōu - About You
Our ideal candidate will have:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience in proving assurance services (commercial or government experience)
* Preferred qualifications include: CPA/CA, Certified Internal Auditors (IIA), Certified information systems auditor (CISA) and Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
* Proven ability to engage with stakeholders
* Presentation and report writing skills
* Data analytics skills are desirable

The Salary for this role is circa $92,000 to $108,000 depending on skills and experience
