ACA / ACCA practice trained Accountant to join as Senior Accountant for a fast growth tech app business


Your new company

A global tech platform which has a current turnover in excess of £90m is looking to hire a qualified practice trained ACA / ACCA to join the team as a Senior Accountant. They are a highly acquisitive business and the role will be constantly changing due to this.

Your new role

The role provides a unique opportunity to do end-to-end accounting as you will have sole responsibility for 3 of the UK companies. There is a clear progression structure and you have the potential to be a manager within 2 years.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the financial reporting of EMEA legal entities,
• Prepare and present month-end reporting and commentary to the Finance Director.
• Identify and lead ad-hoc accounting process improvement projects and operational improvements.
• Business partnering
• Point of contact for external audit work, including the review of statutory accounts.
• Liaise with internal audit department to ensure timely completion of audits, SOX control testing and implementation of any recommendations.
• Assist with the coaching and training of other team members.
• Lead ad-hoc analysis and projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Top 6 trained - (ACA / ACCA)
• At least 6 months industry experience (ideally 1 year)
• Ability to manage one person
• US GAAP
• Confident excel user: pivot table / vlook ups
• Excited about working in a fast growth business
