Line-of-Business Finance Leader

Kuala Lumpur

We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our Building Technologies team in our Kuala Lumpur office. Reporting to the ASEAN Chief Financial Officer your focus will be on leading financial performance and implementing strategies to achieve committed business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience working with sales teams to achieve success in opportunities

Build the Annual Operating Plan, partner with functions and drive initiatives to achieve it

Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance

Help to take decisions on investments, and major growth opportunities

Define, develop and enthusiastically drive process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality and reliability, improve information provided to leadership for business decisions;

Partner with FP&A during reporting periods

Perform financial closing activities (Journal entries, P&L analysis and correction, orders stats, B/S verification) in sync with the latest Controllership and COTA organization

Cash collection and past due reduction by better driving people behaviors, billing correctness, contract payment terms and landmarks

Key Experience & Capabilities:

COO mentality with strong business acuity

Chartered Accountant with around proven experience

Strong analytical skills, ability to think strategically and influence business decisions using appropriate, fact-based financial information

ERP and systems experience (SAP, Oracle, HFM)

Proven ability to deliver sophisticated solutions without supervision

Strong analytical & problems solving skills

Effective verbal and written communication skill

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management preferred, Master's degree or MBA is a plus
