Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of Malaysia's leading property development organizations. Our respected client is an expert in property development in Kuala Lumpur who since its inception has steadily created a name for itself as the foremost authority in the construction industry. They are seeking a dynamic professional with at least 7 years of experience for the job of a Finance Manager. This job is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job responsibilities:
  • To monitor the day-to-day financial operations within our Group of Companies, such as payroll, invoicing, tax and other financial transactions.
  • To handle full set of accounts and generate monthly reports.
  • To provide leadership, direction support and training to financial management and accounting staff to execute a full set of accounts.
  • To evaluate and advice on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of the new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
  • To provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • To manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the management.
  • To prepare timely financial reports, forecast, annual budget variance analysis and performance indicators.
  • To liaise with auditors, tax consultants, solicitors, bankers, company secretary and other professionals to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
  • To establish and implement effective accounting procedures, policies and internal controls in compliance with the local statutory requirements.
  • To manage the cash flows of the company to ensure efficient use of funds and adequacy of working capital.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and federal legislation.
  • To take on ad-hoc tasks as required.

  • Job requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ICAEW/MACPA) Certified professional accountant.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a finance role.
  • Knowledge of technical finance and financial concepts.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to articulate analyses well and propose ideas.
  • Strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details with strong analytical skills.
  • Good communication, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess good track record of professionalism at workplace and able to work within limited timelines.
  • A proven track record in driving and achieving results.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
