Financial Reporting Manager

Salary:
Up to £60,000Southend-On-Sea 12-month fixed term contract - possibility to become permanent / extendedAs our Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for reporting on the ongoing financial health and performance of the Association to both internal and external stakeholders.
We're looking for someone to challenge and improve existing controls and processes to increase the efficiency of the Financial Reporting Team and to manage the delivery of monthly Management Accounts, Annual Financial Statements, regulatory returns, performance data, related reports and lead the Association's annual budget.
You, directly, and through direct reports, will be responsible for the following:Financial Controls and Processes Chart of AccountsFinancial & Statutory AccountsAuditTaxManagement AccountingBudget SettingCapital AccountingRent & Service Charge AccountingRegulatory Compliance & Returns

Ideally you will have: Proven experience in a similar position - ideally within Social HousingComprehensive knowledge of accounting standards including SORP and FRS102In depth experience implementing and improving financial controls and processesExperience of and Involvement in the implementation of financial projects
