Barclay Meade Finance and Accountancy are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a shared service centre in our customer base in the Chichester area.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will work as part of team of 6 and report directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities will be:

• High volume processing of multi-currency invoices
• Working towards company specific lead deadlines/KPI's
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Ensure all supplier and stakeholder calls and e-mails are answered in a timely and proactive manner
• Operating within a multi system environment
• Proactively maintain logs and follow up with departments regarding missing SAP entries.
• Ensure appropriate tax codes are applied to all invoices.

Accounts Payable Specialist skills:

• Previous proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Previous experience working with SAP
• Previous experience operating in a shared service centre or a high volume processing environment
• High degree in accuracy

This is a 6 month contract opportunity, candidates who apply need to have skills that satisfy the above criteria and be either immediately available or drawing to the end of their current contract.

This role will require presence in the office when they first start, and then there will be a hybrid way of working.
