Our client an award-winning pension consultancy are currently recruiting for a qualified and ambitious Senior Pensions Associate with experience in all aspects of Defined Benefits administration.
As a Senior Pensions Associate you will work as part of a pension client administration team providing a high standard of service for a high-status portfolio of clients. This role is a mixture of dealing with key Scheme Events and providing a service to members therefore client relationship skills are key.
Job Role
* Working within a pension client administration team, managing your own portfolio of Clients
* Taking ownership of client Scheme projects required by your designated Clients
* Perform highly complex pension calculations
* Liaising with Trustees, Clients and Actuaries
* Be a senior point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases.
* Assist in more complex/project work when required including complaints.
* Ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
* Assisting/supporting all members of the team when required
Candidate Requirements
* 5 - 10 years pensions industry experience
* Strong Defined Benefit pensions administration experience
* Experience working within a third-party pensions or actuarial environment
* Professional qualifications such as QPA or DPC are an advantage
* Able to perform highly complex pension calculations.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to include good written and verbal communication.
* Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
