As part of its ongoing growth strategy, this global technology business based in Gloucester has a high profile and progressive role for a Senior Finance Business Partner. Working as part of the commercial finance function, you will be instrumental in considering new revenue streams, growth initiatives and commercial opportunities and their impact on the financial performance of the organisation.

Role

Working with both the Finance Director and Head of Commercial Finance, you will enjoy a highly visible role across a diverse senior stakeholder group. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Business partnering to heads of departments supporting, analysing and challenging them on their relevant performance, forecasts and plans to ensure they maximise the market opportunities available to them
  • Reviewing business cases and project proposals and providing financial insight
  • Provide decision making support to critical initiatives and investment projects and help delivery of targets through insightful analysis & idea generation

About You

As a graduate qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA Accountant, you will likely have 2-4 years PQE. Your natural charisma and authentic and compelling communication skills will help you create and enhance lasting internal and external relationships. We're looking for strong commercial acumen and a systematic approach to management information and data manipulation. You'll have the ability to distil, analyse and challenge the data to identify key issues. In addition, confidence to challenge the status quo, not taking information at face value and questioning appropriately.
