Payroll Bureau Supervisor
Our client is seeking a payroll practice expert with a minimum of 2 years experience. Knowledge of SAGE payroll is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and administration of client payrolls over various frequencies and for timely and accurate delivery of payroll and client related services, including record keeping HMRC and client reporting.
* Preparing payrolls for clients, weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly as required
* Calculating SSP and SMP
* Preparing and reconciling PAYE information for the client
* Running payroll reports as required
* Printing or emailing payslips to clients
* Filing CIS sub-contractor pay and CIS suffered by Limited Companies
* Filing RTI submissions
* Preparing P45's
* Preparing year end reports and P60's before filing final RTI with HMRC
* Registering new PAYE schemes with HMRC
* Filing P11d's with HMRC
* Reporting and uploading pension contributions
* Preparing and posting journals
* Resolving and managing queries
As part of this small and friendly team, the successful candidate may also be required to support other bookkeeping and finance related functions.
The successful candidate:
* Min 2 years payroll practice experience in a payroll bureau environment
* Knowledge of SAGE
* Up to date knowledge of HMRC CIS process is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
* Strong Computer Skills - Office, Word, Excel
* Excellent communicator and confident in managing client relations
