Would you like to work for one of the largest facilities management companies in the world?

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Assistant Management Accountant in Bury St Edmunds to join our passionate and driven Finance team on a permanent basis!

This role is ideal for an actively studying partly-qualified Accountant. Good management accounts knowledge, a personable character and the ability to deal with a busy workload are essential skills to be successful within this position.

Job

Responsibilities:


Driving financial efficiencies and adding value
Communicate cost trends and risk analysis
Build relationships and provide financial analysis, insight and guidance
Forecasting and budgeting
Month-end tasks including production of departmental management accounts
Completion of monthly management and financial reporting
Ownership of departmental performance reporting
Monitoring performance against budget and KPIs
Compilation, review and submission of Group VAT return
Provide reports to Senior Management and external auditors as required
Invoicing of Corporate charges to internal and external customers
Drive continuous process improvement
To perform any other ad-hoc duties as required

What we are looking for from you:

Experience within a busy finance team working with a variety of stakeholders and producing
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
AAT level 4 with an ambition to continue studying will be considered
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Confident communicator, with the ability to articulate financial information and analysis to stakeholders
Strong attention to detail with good IT skills, including MS Excel and Word
Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a 'can-do' attitude
