A rapidly growing technology group, based in Essex are currently seeking a VAT Analyst to join their Head of Tax in a newly created position. This role will have significant scope for progression and is a fantastic opportunity for a VAT specialist to further their career, and gain some invaluable experience.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the VAT compliance and audit process for EMEA

- Assisting the VAT compliance pipeline, ensuring returns are accurate and filed on time

- Support the team on VAT correction

- Ad hoc assistance with VAT queries from group and strategy

Requirements:

- An understanding of UK VAT is essential with a background in either VAT or accounting (with VAT compliance responsibilities)

- A qualification or working towards one would be beneficial but is also something that will be supported for the permanent position

- Experience of SAP is essential to be considered

- Personable and good communication skills are essential to make a success of this role
