Global Payroll Lead £80k to £90k + £8k Car + 15% bonus - Berkshire

An exciting and dynamic Global IT/Tech firm based in Berkshire are on the hunt for an experienced Global Payroll Lead to be a key focus on Governance, Change & Transformation and Vendor Management.

Reporting into the Global HD Director you will have come from a Payroll Operational background but be at the stage in your career where Governance and Strategy are key strengths as well as managing teams globally.

The role:

  • Leading and managing a large team spread across EMEA and APAC - 3 regional hubs plus in-country specialists

  • Be the subject matter expert for all escalations and be the lead on all Governance undertakings as well as transformation projects and process improvements

  • Be the lead on all vendor management and making sure that the levels of service received are in line with the SLA's that have been agreed globally

  • Be the lead and looking after the organisational structure and interaction

  • Constant liaison with other internal teams to influence change: HR, Finance, Reward and Global Mobility

  • Be the lead on all global payroll modelling

  • Constantly looking at EMEA and Global Payroll frameworks and controls to mitigate risk and have the ability to drive these changes globally

  • Constantly looking at ways to implement change, streamline processes with regards to the global payroll offering

  • Still have an operational mindset and have a roll your sleeves attitude when required and want to own a Global payroll offering outright

Skills:

  • Wealth of Global Payroll Operational experience

  • Experienced in strategy and transformation Globally

  • Have an appetite for process improvements

  • Strong Vendor management globally

  • Ideally confident with ADP payroll platforms and Workday HR

  • Have the ability to push back to Senior Stakeholders

  • Management experience and being able to lead teams effectively through change

  • Strong business partner internal and external
