We are looking for a Finance Manager to join a growing startup on a permanent, part time basis (with scope to move to full time hours as the role grows). As this is our first finance hire, we are looking for someone who is confident that they can build the company's finance function.
The role is available as a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
* Managing accounts, ledgers, and purchasing databases, making sure that all transactions are reconciled promptly.
* Managing supplier relationships.
* Managing purchasing and deliveries.
* Preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis.
* Managing the company's payroll and expenses.
* Supporting other teams with invoicing, reports and other necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years financial/ accounts experience, and working towards or holds a financial qualification (Level 3 AAT and above or other financial qualifications)
* Highly detail oriented.
* Experience with accounting software (Xero and ReceiptBank)
* Ability to work with integrity and openness
* Highly adaptable and able to thrive within fast-paced environments
* Entrepreneurial, go-getting attitude to work
