I am partnering exclusively with a reputable property business based in the South of Cambridge. Due to expansion, they are looking to had a highly-skilled Accounts Assistant to their finance department. This role will be a full time position, with a mix of home working and being based in the office.
This position is suitable for someone who is climbing the career ladder and looking to progress further, or someone with a wealth of experience and a real passion for transactional finance.
Within this position, there are a number of responsibilities that will fall under your remit, including but not limited too:
- Processing of purchase and sales invoices
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payment Runs
- Assisting with month end work, such as prepayment and accruals
- Assisting your line manager with the continued development of the finance system
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
As the successful candidate within this role, you will possess the following set of skills and attributes:
- Experience in working within a similar level finance role
- Strong knowledge of excel
- Good attention to detail
- Self motivated with good communication skills
- Experience working with finance packages such as Sage previously
This role presents the perfect opportunity for someone to develop their finance career further and pick up further responsibilities as the role progresses
