I am very pleased to be working with a fresh, exciting and growing accountancy practice near Hinckley. Our client has tasked us with the search for a practice accountant and is open to level of candidate from AAT Qualified and just starting their ACCA/ACA right up to fully ACCA/ACA qualified client managers. AUDIT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST HAVE FOR THIS ROLE, MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR.
ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLP's and limited companies.

• Preparation of Corporate and Personal tax returns and liaising with HMRC.

• Liaising with clients, acting as a point of contact for enquiries and encouraging positive long lasting relationships. (basic queries dealt with by semi-seniors and more advanced dealt with by senior staff).

• Assisting with Audit assignments.

• Directly reporting to the directors and supporting them as needed.

• The successful senior candidate will be responsible for managing some work flow for junior staff members as well as deadlines for that work as well as assisting with ad hoc project work for key clients.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Anywhere from late stages AAT to just AAT qualified right up to fully ACA / ACCA qualified.

• Experience of preparing accounts, bookkeeping, Tax Computations and Returns

• 1+ years practice experience (for semi-senior candidates)

• 3+ years practice experience (for senior candidates)

• Audit experience is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Proven verbal and written communication skills

• Full UK driving license.
