Are you a small firm qualified ACCA / ACA Accounts & Audit Senior (Or a finalist with one or two exams remaining) looking to work for a very good quality, medium sized accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London? Are you looking for a new role with an October / November start date? Are you looking to carry out a varied role, mixed 70% accounts and tax with 30% spent on audit assignments (this is flexible and would consider candidates looking for a role 100% accounts and tax based with no audit involved). Depending on your experience, your role will be mainly accounts based (70%) with an element of corporation tax and a small amount of audit work (30%). If you don't want audit exposure the firm can offer a role which is 100% statutory accounts and corporation tax based. Based in a busy and growing firm of 50 staff, you will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients, as well as corporation tax computations. You will also have the opportunity to prepare management accounts for some clients. You will deal with client queries, technical research, HMRC queries and also be responsible for supervising juniors and reviewing their work. You will also be responsible for carrying out a number of ad hoc projects and assignments on behalf of clients (including business valuations, cashflows, budgets, forecasts, due diligence etc). Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression prospects to manager grade on offer. Many of the partners in this firm started as trainees and the firm always promotes from within, meaning you will be provided with every opportunity to progress to manager then partner grade. You will gain exposure to a wide range of UK clients from sectors including media and entertainment, property, legal, technology and retail. This firm has had great success with people who have trained around the UK and want to relocate to London.

To be considered for this new role you must have at least three years experience, probably in a small or medium size accountancy firm and looking to upgrade to a medium sized London based practice which offers all its staff varied roles and great progression. You will ideally be fully ACCA / ACA qualified although the firm will consider candidates who have a few exams remaining. You must have experience of preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, supervising juniors and ideally managing clients. Experience of audit is desirable but not essential. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage. A strong interest in a mixed general practice role is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace. The firm welcomes applications from candidates looking to relocate to London from another UK based practice firm.

This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of high profile and growing London based clients from a variety of sectors. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. This is a unique opportunity for an Accounts & Audit Senior or an Accounts Senior to join a modern, entrepreneurial and forward thinking practice and play a role of great importance to the continued growth of the firm. It is also a great opportunity to progress to Manager level in a short space of time.
