TRAINEE ACCOUNTANTS
Grade 5-10 (Career Grade)

Shropshire Council is recognised as delivering high quality financial services and managing its resources effectively. We are now looking for a trainee accountant to join our team.
You will gain experience in budget setting, monitoring and preparation of accounts, internal audit and support to financial systems. In addition, you will use your analytical and communication skills to assist budget holders in managing their budgets. To succeed you will need to be enthusiastic, committed and demonstrate strong numerical and IT skills.
In return we will give you the opportunity to qualify as an accountant (CIPFA) through day release and to join a leading and forward looking organisation
