My client based in Crawley is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner This role will primarily be responsible for leading the finance business partnering team to provide comprehensive financial advice and support within the directorates to which they are aligned within the Trust. This role will be become an integral and dependable resource within the Team for budget holders and instrumental in driving performance and ensuring efficient use of resources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving insight and financial understanding across non-finance budget holders within the Trust, ensuring continuous strategy and budget alignment. In conjunction with the 'outward-facing' role, you will utilise your business and financial acumen to support budget holders in the development of annual budgets for their area of responsibility, developing realistic forecasts and identifying the key risks and mitigations to budgetary delivery.

This role will liaise closely with the key stakeholders to ensure that all cost improvement opportunities are identified and appropriate budgetary adjustment made and reported. You will be involved in influencing business decisions by providing support and challenge in the development of business cases for investment.

Applicants should have a CCAB qualification or equivalent, coupled with significant relevant experience, expertise, sound Excel skills, excellent communication skills and the necessary personal qualities to engage effectively with senior budget managers and their teams. This includes the ability to grasp quickly the issues facing managers and to explain financial implications in simple terms.
