Accounts Assistant
Peterborough
£10.50 - £11.50 per hour
Ongoing Temp Assignment
Full time - 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Do you want to work for an ethical company and be apart of a forward thinking no waste environment? We are looking for an Account Assistant to join a team based in Peterborough to start of as a temp in a long term booking which could go permanent for the right person.
A typical day in the office will involve:
Handling Purchase and Sales Orders
Overseeing all payments
Invoicing - raising and processing
Managing all customer accounts
Ensuring all suppliers and user companies are paid on time
Flagging up any issues to management
General Administration
Dealing with customer and supplier phone calls, emails and letters
Ensuring all databases are up to date at all times and be audit ready
It is essential that all suppliers and customers receive a professional service
To be suitable for this role you will have:
Excellent experience in Sage or Xero
Experience with Accounts Management
Confident and capable administration skills with plenty of experience to draw from within an Accounts team
Professional customer handling skills
A great attention to detail
The ability to work well on your own when required
This role requires an experienced and skilled person to come into a very busy office who can multitask, prioritise their work load and be highly organised and self-motivated.
