Accountable Recruitment are pleased to be working with a Top 10 Chartered Accountancy firm who are recruiting for experienced Audit Managers for their Public Sector division. This is a brand new role created within a large Public Sector team, due to ongoing rapid growth within the firm.

The ideal candidate will be an ACA/ACCA qualified Audit Manager with current or previous Public Sector/Health-care/Government body audit experience. In addition to the successful candidate being able to join a prestigious global Practice, you will be compensated with highly competitive salary package, excellent flexible working opportunities, profit share opportunities and a clear path to progression to Senior Management.

Duties Include:

• Overseeing Public Sector Audit teams as they work on large scale audits of Public Sector organisations, health-care organisations and government bodies
• Working with Financial Directors and Senior Management to ensure all necessary documentation is made available for your team
• Act as the point of contact for Audits that you oversee
• Support clients in an advisory capacity throughout the audit process and ensure continuous communication
• Working with high profile organisations across the North West

Skills Required:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified
• Proven track record of managing audit teams and in depth knowledge of the Audit process
• Previous or current experience working with Public Sector clients in Audit
• Strong communicator and organisational skills

This role will be based remotely temporarily due to COVID19, then based in Liverpool, however flexible working allows for continuous home and office working.
