The Treasury Assistant will provide support to the Treasury and Insurance team in the preparation and management of the cash position and forecasting processes in all currencies; ensuring the Company have the funds to meet all liabilities when they become due, and that any surplus is invested efficiently. There will also be duties relevant to insurance and risk matters. It will also provide support in the preparation and management of contract bonds & Guarantees and other Treasury activities.

Key Responsibility Areas

Assist in the Preparation of daily reports in relation to cash pooling/sweeping activity.
Maintain the daily cash forecast within the companies Treasury Management systems.
Assist the Treasury team in monitoring of bank accounts, ensuring payments are made in accordance with requirements, and receipts are invested effectively when required.
Prepare monthly report on credit ratings
Assist in the Preparation of monthly reconciliations in relation to bank and parent company bond positions
Assist in the checking of bank invoices on bond charges, and prepare for approval
Prepare various reports on underlying FX positions and make appropriate recommendations to hedge management to Assistant Treasurer or VP Treasury
Maintain an accurate record of our bonds and guarantees within the Piteco Treasury Management System.
Prepare FX deals for dealing depending on underlying positions.
Assist in the preparation of various reports in relation the payment reporting.

Qualifications & Knowledge Required

Numerate, good excel skills, proficient with use of accounting and treasury systems,
Foundation or Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACT, CII, or CIB) or Qualified by experience in accountancy, Treasury, Insurance or banking.
Previous experience in a Treasury department would be desirable but not required, as training will be given.
Good organisational and Time management skills, proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office computer programs. Basic understanding in computerised accounting systems such as SAP
