We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to work with a range of clients across multiple industries for a highly regarded Cambridge Accountancy practice.
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified and/or studying towards CIMA or ACCA.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Working closely with clients on their accounting and reporting requirements
- Ensuring timely completion of all aspects of accounts preparation and management reporting for clients
- General bookkeeping including AP/AR through to journals
- Financial reporting
- Additional ad hoc responsibilities as required.
The successful candidate will be someone who is process-driven, articulate, analytical and agile; someone who can add value to clients by thinking protectively and proving both analysis and advice. Time management and the ability to prioritise your workload are paramount to being successful in a role of this calibre. Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks and a good knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, V Look-ups etc) would be desirable.
The organisation offers flexible working arrangements, as well as on site parking when office travel is required. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in developing their accountancy knowledge within a supportive environment
