A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants has a vacancy for a Senior Tax Manager within its busy dedicated tax department

Based in Swansea office dealing with personal and corporate tax clients from straightforward tax returns through to very substantial groups of companies and high wealth individuals including overseas individuals. You will have experience with face to face client meetings

What you will be doing;
The role will be varied, depending upon client needs and will encompass the following:

You will be responsible for a varied portfolio of tax clients both personal & corporate.
Attend regular face to face meetings with clients (currently virtually)
You will be willing to research into more complex areas of taxation to meet specific client requirements.
Client care and retention, including addressing ad-hoc queries and client issues
There will be a requirement to supervise junior staff and work in conjunction with the audit and assurance department staff, as necessary. About you;

ACCA/ICAEW qualified or qualified by experienced with at least 2 years working within a professional practice environment.
Some experience of dealing with VAT would be an advantage.
Proficient in accounting software including Iris and also Microsoft Office applications
Personable and professional, being able to communicate with individuals at all levels
Ability to work to tight deadlines
You will be a people person and also be innovative and creative to come up with new ideas to support an already busy, expanding company.

Salary dependant on experience circa 50k
