Pensions Officer (LGPS) Surrey

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Pensions Officer. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive LGPS Pensions Administration service to employees . You will ensure the provision of a high-quality pensions service that meets service standards and complies with statutory regulations. You will provide specialist advice and administration support on LGPS issues. The Pensions Officer will be working as part of the team in developing a highly customer focused and engaged service, whilst working with in the business framework of policy and procedures as led by Government Legislation.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

Relevant and proven Pensions experience within LGPS
Knowledge of relevant systems, policies, regulations, professional guidelines, legislation and emerging developments within the specialist area such as the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
Knowledge and experience of contributing to the development of policies, procedures and practices.
Well-developed interpersonal, persuasion and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence the stakeholder community.
