The Role and Responsibilities cover the following:
  • Support the portfolio of all payroll related projects in APAC and Greater China region
  • Work out the business case including cost analysis for transformation projects
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders and key partners for the program.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plan, including schedule of regular meetings, key updates and tracking of milestones across the programme
  • Lead projects for Payroll of medium & large-scale complexity e.g. new vendor transitions, transformation projects, integration projects etc.
  • Support the end of phase review assessment of projects.
  • Work with Payroll Operations, vendors, and internal teams to develop and constantly evolve systems and processes.
  • Recommend and design work around solutions.
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and operate as an individual contributor to get the job done; at the same time, be able to guide stakeholders toward an objective.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand goals and objectives and identify success criteria.
  • Manage and present data to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure solution meets defined success criteria.
  • Execute and drive program/project, execution, and adoption across multiple teams
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs
  • Manage project risk and coordinate with relevant stake holders for the solutions
  • Lead project/change communication
  • Communicate and escalate project status/issues in concise and professional manner
  • Own the business reviews of the project (weekly/monthly/quarterly) for the projects
  • Partner with Payroll team in assessing tools, approaches, processed, methodology and techniques to improve efficiency

  • Basic Qualifications:

    -5+ years in Payroll / HR

    -Multiple years of program / project management experience

    -Project Management experience in Payroll/HR.

    -Payroll implementation experience.

    -Strong process flow documentation, Excel skills

    -Experience in PM methodology and tools

    -Ability to work effectively with teams, to deliver projects and initiatives.

    -Ability to excel both independently and in a team environment.

    -Time and Attendance system experience

    -Good English language skills. Senior management experience combined with excellent communication skills and strong service- and result-orientation.

    Desirable:

    -Expertise in Robotics, PowerBi, Advanced Excel and Macro related skills will be preferable.

    -Expertise in Six Sigma methodologies would be preferable

    knowledge of SAP HR systems other relevant HR tools (like workday, Oracle would be preferable
