Job Mission

Financial Analyst reports to Statutory Reporting Manager EMEA, will be responsible for statutory data analysis for a number of Whirlpool entities and supporting the senior finance team and external consultants with statutory audit closure. Role also includes liaison with central and local audit teams for any issue resolution and complexities whilst at the same time pushing through timely completion of end-to-end process. Financial Analyst will be responsible also for providing information for auditors and leading accounting and internal controls discussions with them.
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Analyst opening to join our team in Łódź.

Your task in this role will include

• Data analysis for a number of Whirlpool entities
• Monitoring profitability coming out of the management result and preparing and calculating adjustments.
• Discussing results with the different stakeholders
• Collaboration side by side with Statutory, Local Finance and Tax Teams
• Point of contact and coordinator for audit requirements
• Proactive management of key process partner relationships (internal / external), regular communication, proactive issue resolution
• Maintaining and improving processes in scope

Background and experiences

• Master's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years accounting experience
• Very strong analytical and computer skills
• Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data. Attention to detail.
• Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation
• External Reporting knowledge, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and other statements for management review and ability to review financial statements of foreign subsidiaries where required
• Exceptional time management, communication, and problem solving skills
• Experience in Tax & Statutory Processes is an advantage
