We are recruiting for an In Practice Accountancy based in Wiltshire, who are looking for a strong Audit Manager. Duties and responsibilities
- Completion of audit engagements for the firm's audit clients
- Technical expert for the audit department
- Assisting and advising the client management team on the formulation of audit strategy and planning.
- Managing and completing statutory audit work for the firm's audit clients, including the management of junior members, reporting to audit compliance partner and liaising with clients
- Ensuring that the audit procedures are up to date and meet the statutory requirements as laid out in the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)
- Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from budget, then gaining a full understanding for the audit compliance partner
Qualifications and experience
• ACA/ACCA fully or part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience within a small or medium sized practice
• Significant external audit experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Excellent communication and strong teamwork skills
