Robert Selley Accountants is a Burgess Hill-based practice that has been running since 1999. We are a small, dynamic and friendly team, working closely together.
We are now looking for an AAT qualified Accounts Assistant with at least 2 years' practice experience for our expanding team and we are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join us. The initial contract would be for two days per week, but as we grow, we envisage the job will too.
The successful candidate will be confident in preparing bookkeeping tasks with progression to statutory accounts for Limited Company, Sole Trader and Partnerships.
You must have experience using Xero and other cloud-based software.
* Be a very experienced Bookkeeper
* Have previous experience in an accountancy practice (2 years minimum)
* Excel intermediate skill
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Well organised with good written and verbal skills
* Ability to manage own workload. Strong attention to detail and ability to process information accurately and to deadlines
* Have an eye for detail
Main Job Role: Preparation of monthly and quarterly bookkeeping files includes reconciling control accounts
