This massively expanding, professional and highly successful engineering company now requires an Accounts Assistant to provide general support to the accounts team on a permanent basis.
As the Accounts Assistant you will be:
• Posting supplier invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Assisting with payment runs
• Generating sales and hire invoices
• Credit control support
• Opening new customer accounts
• Handling queries from customers
• Monitoring the accounts inbox
• Providing admin support to the accounts team
To succeed as the Accounts Assistant you will need:
• Previous experience working in an office environment, preferably within an accounts department
• Knowledge of Sage 50 would be an advantage however training will be provided.
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office; Outlook, SharePoint, Word & Excel
• GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics, along with a natural flair for numbers
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good, clear communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly self-motivated
• Be positive, friendly and possess a professional demeanour
