Pensions Officer - Public Sector

Pay: £19ph umbrella

Hours: 35 hour week

Duration: 3 month initially

Scope: Inside IR-35

My public sector client is looking for an experienced Pensions Officer, below is the duties of the role:

1.) Process LGPS pension retirement using Altair Heywood system
2.) Process LGPS pension deferred on Altair Heywood system
3.) Process LGPS pension new starter on Altair Heywood system
4.) Process LGPS refunds on Altair Heywood system
5.) Process bank detail changes, address changes, nominations on Altair Heywood and Zellis Payroll system
6.) Set up new pensioners on Aquila Heywood

Experience:

Candidate MUST have previous experience of using the Altair Heywood system system to very high standard
High standard of Local Government Pension Scheme Regulatory knowledge
Extensive knowledge and experience in the use of Altair Heywood Pension System
Extensive experience of using Agresso financial system
Extensive experience of working with a Local Government Pension Scheme
Experience of using Zellis payroll/HR system
