Job role; Finance Assistant - 12 month Maternity contract

Salary; up to £22,000

Our Client is currently looking to recruit an all round Finance Assistant to join their team to cover a period of Maternity leave. The role will be offered on a 12 month contract basis (possibly up for review / extension)

You will be joining a small but highly dynamic Finance team - the Accounts function runs like clockwork so they need someone who is organised, calm and collected!

You will report into the Finance Director and be responsible for the following;

  • Purchase Ledger Invoice processing - across both Stock and Overheads
  • Sales Invoice processing
  • Daily Bank reconciliations across different currencies - GBP, Euro and Dollar
  • Reconciliation of Cash / Receipts
  • Assistance with Month End Accounts pack preparation across Ledgers
  • Liaise with and assist Customers and Clients with any queries

The role will be to start in November, so you must be available with little or no notice period

The Client offers an excellent working environment and parking is available on site

Working hours Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 1pm - nice start to your weekend! They are offering a competitive salary and holiday package and Christmas closure
