This role presents the opportunity to join a leading engineering organisation during an exciting growth & change period. They are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead the development of the newly created function.

The role will initially be a standalone, with autonomy given to help shape & implement new processes and suitable ways of working.

You will be responsible for:

• Participating as a key member of the Site Management Team.
• Being the senior finance lead on site, ensuring compliance to standards
• Producing timely & accurate daily, weekly & monthly site P&L's.
• Site Payroll
• Production of monthly/quarterly/yearly forecasts & annual budgets for the site.
• Preparation of management & month end accounts
• Attending daily production meetings
• Ledger management
• Working with the Director and Management Team to manage spend, cash flow and improve efficiencies

Person Requirements:

• CIMA or ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) with relevant work experience, ideally gained in an manufacturing / engineering environment
• Experience gained as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller and comfortable working in a standalone role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into analysis / information which enable users to understand business performance and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• Disciplined and organised with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent Excel & Finance Software skills (Xero, SAP Business One is desirable but not essential)

Working Hours:

• Monday-Thursday (7.45-16:30)
• Friday (07:45-12:45)
