Cobalt are working with a FTSE 100 company, seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join their successful team based in London. This client side opportunity will oversee a thriving portfolio of commercial properties and focus largely on the Service Charge function of the property accounting process.

Specification

  • Undergoing the full service charge procedure including setting and loading budgets across a large personal portfolio of commercial properties
  • Being the first point of contact for property managers and surveyors, and ensuring all queries are discussed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as reporting up to trial balance and Profit and loss reporting
  • Reconciliation of year end service charges and rents
  • Ensuring all costs are apportioned correctly and the annual budget for the portfolio is accurate and up to date at all times

Requirements

  • Strong service charge experience and knowledge of the property sector essential
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise efficiently
  • You will possess strong communication skills
  • Efficient across Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently, as well as part of a small team
