A leading Film & TV Distribution company is looking for an experienced Analyst to join their FP&A team. A key player within the Film industry this company has been responsible for bringing huge blockbusters and diverse catalogue of films to our screens, big and small.

This role will be responsible for managing and analysing the revenues/costs of each film per title and territory whilst tracking actuals to date and forecasted/accrued future revenues across the life span of the film.

This role is ideally looking for an individual who has recently qualified who is commercially focused and who has ideally worked within the media experience. If you love film/TV and want to work for a highly successful and dynamic company this is a great role for you! You will be part of a collaborative and outgoing team who wants a highly motivated person to work with.


The role:
  • Prepare budget and forecast amortisation and royalties;
  • Analyse Variance of actual amort/royalties to budget & forecast;
  • Manage the sales model for each territory;
  • Maintain multiple territory revenue forecast and calculate amort and royalties on a multi-territory basis;
  • Scenario based modelling and analysis of different outcomes per film and territory;
  • Manage the investment in content and royalty monies;
  • Manage a junior member of the team;
  • Analyse and report per title/territory to include: sensitivity analysis, period end ultimates;
  • Analysis of risk and depreciation;
  • Constantly review model for efficiency.

The person:
  • Ideally fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent);
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills is essential;
  • Experience gained within a media company would be an advantage;
  • Strong attention to detail, able to exceed deadlines and work in a fast paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders;
  • Ability to build and utilise models
  • Have a genuine interest in Film & TV.
