A diverse property group in Leeds is looking to appoint a talented Group Financial Controller to provide financial leadership, control, direction and guidance with a focus on developing and implementing business strategies to generate sustainable and profitable growth. An immediate start is on offer and the role could become permanent.

Working closely with the board, the appointed candidate will provide leadership on the financial strategy, optimise the Group's financial performance and strategic position. This will include management of the finance team, controlling the accounting function and being a point of contact for lenders, advisors , auditors and JV partners.

The role will include;

• Working closely with the Directors across the business
• Leading the company's accounting function and developing the accounting team
• Ensure that management accounts are produced with commentary
• Ensure statutory accounts are prepared and published, and tax, VAT, and any other statutory returns are completed
• Management of cashflow
• Work with management on budgets and forecasts
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
• Ensuring that company financial systems and internal controls are robust, compliant and will support future growth

Experience within property, leisure and/or private equity would be beneficial.
