The Company
Our client based in Watford is one of the leading independent Chartered Accountants, who provide advice and support to range of clients from small family enterprises to large international corporations. In addition to accountancy and tax compliance they also help clients in business growth, tax planning, acquisitions and sale of businesses. They are looking for a mid-level tax specialist to join their growing team of professionals.
Role
You will be part of the friendly team and your role's focus will be to prepare tax returns, dealing with clients & queries and assisting other team members.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation of complex personal and corporate Tax Returns
- Arrange tax return submission to HMRC
- Ensuring Tax returns are filed and payments are made on time
- Maintaining a record of Tax Returns and payments
- Dealing with clients and queries
- Assisting tax staff and Principals
Skills & Experience
- Ideally at least 1-2 years' experience in both personal & corporate tax returns
- ATT qualified or equivalent qualification / studying towards professional qualifications (training support will be given)
- Good IT skills and technical ability
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
