Robert Half are working with a very successful financial Banking institute who offer both Brokerage and Investment Banking Survives, to help recruit a Business Manager. The Business Manager is to act as the vital support to the banks business units in a key implementation and coordination role across the COO office, projects/ change management team, and business unit leadership.

Tasks and Responsibilities for the Business Manager

  • Develop strategic relationships with Senior Managers to assist in the development of the infrastructure to support the company's short and long term business objectives.
  • Project and Programme Management within the Front, Back and Middle Office.
  • Streamline full front office to back office processes, including business request and scoping documentation.
  • Provide the business with practical solutions and suggestions to tackle issues and risks raised
  • Writing of Terms of Reference and ownership of Business Governance requirements.
  • Analyse trade and business flows, produce business justifications for projects to proceed, and lead discussion for change.
  • Process re-engineering, Business controls and Operational support as required on a day to day basis as well as ad-hoc projects and services.
  • Ownership of and coordination for European insurance policies across business units and entities
  • Take the lead on European Travel Management, including managing a European travel program and annually reviewing the European travel and expense policy.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience within Financial Services organisation(s) is essential preferably Investment Banking/Broking
  • Previous Business Management experience or at the very least Consultancy type experience is required
  • Proven experience at managing multiple projects with Prince2 (or equivalent) qualification desirable
  • Strong MS Office skills (including excel and PowerPoint)

Salary

80k - 100k + Bonus
