THE COMPANY:

Based in Wakefield, this business is a growing manufacturing organisation with a great reputation within their sector. They are looking for a bright and capable Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team and support the Finance Director

This is the perfect opportunity for an Accounts Assistant who is looking to hone their finance skills working alongside an engaging and supportive senior finance team

THE JOB:

This fast paced and varied role will include the following duties:

Sales ledger - allocating payments, raising statements
Cash book management
Bank reconciliations
Reconciling bank statements
Purchase ledger
Issuing rebates
Preparing and posting payment runs
Petty cash
Supporting payroll at month end and processing starters and leavers
Monitoring bank accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
ad hoc support to the finance team

THE PERSON:

Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
Motivated, keen to develop and grow
Strong eye for detail
Great communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Proactive
