Temporary Cashier, based in South Birmingham, paying up to £14 per hour.

They advise and manage a wide range of client portfolios with national visibility across all of the 6 property sectors; rural, commercial, development, residential, utilities & infrastructure and sustainable energy.

Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Property Management firm in a role where the focus will be to ensure that all monies received from tenants - rent, service charge, utilities and other ad-hoc's are processed on a timely basis. Your duties will include;

  • To ensure that all receipts received from tenants are recorded into the appropriate client accounts daily.
  • To ensure that all tenant receipts received are posted onto the accounting software on a daily basis.
  • To ensure that all tenant receipts paid directly into the client bank accounts are posted onto the accounting software on a daily basis.
  • To ensure that all queries regarding cash allocation are dealt with on a daily basis.
  • To investigate bank reconciliation differences / variances.
  • To process electronic payments to clients on the banking software.
  • To raise and process all manual cheque payments.
  • To maintain accurate record keeping and filing of supporting documents.
  • To ensure that all cash postings are correctly allocated to tenant debts, liaising with credit controllers as required.
  • To provide our overseas team at Concentrix with information as required.



What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have a keen eye for detail and an appreciation of practice in a professional services operation. You must have general accounting experience with a full appreciation and ability to undertake detailed reconciliations. Its important that you have an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Excel and Word. The ability to manage a busy workload is vital. Lastly property experience is beneficial however not vital.
