Financial Accountant for Start Up Insurance Business


Your new company
Your new company is a PE Backed Insurance company who have very exciting growth plans. You will be working with the Financial Controller and be part of a growing team. They are based in London but will be primarily remote.

Your new role
You will be managing all of the month end processes for the insurance and service companies. They are constantly growing and acquiring new businesses so you will need to be adaptable and able to update and amend processes as required. You will be doing month end ledger close including balance sheet reconciliations, corporation tax and VAT returns, group reporting, revenue and inter-company accounting as well as other ad hoc requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant who has either worked in insurance or qualified in practice with 1-2 years post qualified experience. Given it is a small finance team this would suit somebody who is a fast learner and able to work autonomously and take initiative as processes change.

What you'll get in return
You will be working in a really exciting business with a lovely finance function who work hard but are also very supportive and collaborative. You will be on a fixed term contract (6 months) with a view to go permanent at the end if it works out. You'll be on a salary of £55,000-£65,000 which is flexible depending on experience.
