This is an exciting opportunity to join this fast growing Business as Financial Controller/Senior Manager. The role will have full autonomy within the Finance function and has a good combination of technical and commercial finance accountability.

Client Details

The Company is fast growing within the Life Sciences sector. They have impressive plans over the next five years with the intention to triple turnover. They are keen to find an individual who has the passion to help them get to their objectives. The role will have two direct reports. This is a permanent role but they are very keen to find someone at short notice. They will also offer Work from Home around 3 days a week.

Description

Deliver timely and accurate consolidated accounts to meet all statutory, regulatory, shareholder and management reporting requirements

Provide controllership for the business, focusing on the monthly closing process and financial integrity of the financial accounts

Responsible for delivery of the monthly closing process and reporting of actual results, working with the finance team to ensure timely, effective and accurate reporting of business results, including commentary and appropriate investigatory analysis

Operate robust balance sheet account management processes and ensure that the balances are appropriately reconciled, reviewed and provide meaningful analysis

Maintain accurate registers and ledgers

Efficient management of surplus cash to maximise interest returns

Management of monthly reporting on Invoice discounting and Stock banking facilities

Profile

Qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualification experience

Strong technical accounting and book-keeping skills

ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
