Distribution Group based in Chichester, West Sussex, has an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their Group finance function.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts including providing commentary on any variances;
• Assisting with the annual budgeting process;
• Production of sales and margin reports and calculation of ratios, statistics and KPI's;
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet, Nominal Account and inter-group accounts;
• Production of the monthly and quarterly Board packs;
• Management of a team of 5 including monthly reviews, annual appraisals and continued development;
• Review and development of internal systems and processes supporting the implementation of improvements where necessary.

Applicants for the position will hold an accountancy qualification or be nearing the completion of their studies. Qualified by Experience candidates will also be considered should they have the necessary skills. The successful candidate will have a strong technical skill set, the proven ability to deal with non-finance managers at all levels within an organisation and strong staff management capabilities. In addition, previous experience of working within a high volume, multi-site business would be highly advantageous.
