Payroll Officer
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team for 6 months, but could go on longer
Duties include;
- Processing high weekly and monthly payrolls in a team
- Process Starters, Leavers and Contract Variations
- Processing of manual payments for New Joiners
- Processing payments for any Overtime and Holidays
- Extensive payroll knowledge for maternity, sick pay
- Complete manual calculations for SMP & SSP
- Experienced with example pivots and V look ups
- Completing routine payroll data entry on systems
- Assist the Payroll & Pensions Manager in day to day duties towards the production of the monthly payroll and any ad hoc duties as and when required eg checking claim forms, checking calculations, inputting, and filing.
- Collate and check timesheets/expense forms, bank details etc and input them onto the payroll system (checking payroll output reports and raising necessary documentation.
- Ensure that any discrepancies on timesheets/expense forms are raised with the authorising manager
- Maintain and update all filing systems as required
- Respond to general questions and queries from staff and managers as required
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data
- Provide management information reports as required by the Payroll Manager.
This role will be working at home and some attendance to their offices near Highbury & Islington for training, and returning to the offices full time in January
