A leading Accountancy Practice with excellent transport links are recruiting for a Tax Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous Accountancy Practice experience seeking to progress their Tax skills in a progressive environment. The Tax Senior will receive full study support and encouragement to pass all of your ATT and CTA Tax exams. You will be working closely with a Partner and will benefit from the wisdom and experience of the Tax team. To be considered for the Tax Senior opportunity you need to have gained previous Tax experience within an Accountancy practice.

• Assisting with the establishment and growth of the firm's digital tax services for smaller business clients and personal tax clients.
• Support of the Tax department in providing:
• Basic tax planning services to individuals and smaller businesses.
• Tax compliance and reporting services.
• Tax computations.
• Development of skills in preparation of self-assessment income and capital gains tax returns, liaison with clients and HMRC, fee quotation to billing the work, and in due course proactively offering basic tax planning ideas and solutions for private clients, written and verbal, and holding client meetings.
• Willingness to assist the Tax department generally, within the individual's expertise, with personal tax returns, particularly leading up to the January 31 deadline.
• Assistance with ad hoc tax related projects for clients and referrers.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week (some flexibility available)
