Research Accounts Officer

A world leading London based Research University are currently recruiting a Research Finance Officer to join their Research Services department. The post holder will have a primary focus in Post Award grant management and the opportunity to develop expertise in other areas. Due to the current climate the successful applicant will be working remotely for the duration of the contract. The post holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail.

Hourly Rate: £14 - £17 (open to negotiation dependent on experience)
Length: 2 months


Location:
Central London

Your duties will include:

• Post-Award management of all research projects, in accordance with terms and conditions of the funder

• Providing advice and guidance to the Principle Investigators (PIs)

• Monitoring income and expenditure on projects in accordance with the grant funding

• Generating reports for awarding institutions on project expenditure

• Completing grant reconciliations

• Submiting invoices, financial returns and statements to research sponsors

The successful candidate MUST:

• Have experience working in a post-award Research Finance team within a Higher Education institute

• Good knowledge of Agresso and Intermediate Excel
