Your responsibilitiesThe Credit Risk Control department designs, implements and operates procedures for credit risk analytics, cash liquidity management, the corporate FX hedging process and quantitative aspects of financial markets regulations.
• Collaborate in operating the credit risk control function of the department
• Improve the counterparty credit risk methods and systems framework as appropriate and needed
• Evaluate (complex) transactions in terms of exposure and pricing, including suggestions to improve the risk-return relationship
• Run Credit Risk reporting processes
• Perform ad-hoc analyses
• Collaborate in operating and improving the cash liquidity reporting and the corporate FX hedging processesKey interfaces are the desk-facing Risk teams and commercial functions, Credit Risk, Controlling & Accounting as well as Treasury.Your profile
• Degree, preferably in the field of Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or Science
• Significant experience in risk management, in particular with regard to counterparty credit risk, FX risk and cash liquidity risk and an understanding of commodity trading, trading life cycle and financial/physical instruments
• Experience in the energy industry including utilities, generation assets, energy supply chain, oil industry and energy trading
• Knowledge of treasury, finance and accounting processes, including performance reporting, mark-to-market accounting, IAS 39 and accounting principles
• Experience in risk-reporting environments, special IT systems and software
• Programming experience and affinity
• Experience in managing other employees' workload and development using a supportive and coaching approach, acting as a role model and demonstrating good conflict management skills
• Fluency in English and ideally German, both spoken and written
• Excellent analytical skills, structured approach to complex issues and attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
• Willingness to occasionally travel to other locationsOur offer
