Finance Analyst - EU Lockers & Pick-up points

Amazon Locker and Pick-up Points seeks an experienced Finance Analyst to join its fast growing business in EU. Based in London head Office, the Finance Analyst will closely work with finance and business groups and support the business unit in achieving its long-term growth and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will combine financial and business acumen with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities include:

Providing analytical support to the Locker & Pick-up Points business in understanding the optimal network scale and drivers of customer adoption, as well as working on profitability initiatives to increase savings to AmazonBuilding and managing the right reporting to support the business decision making at EU and WW level as well as simplifying, improving and scaling existing processes and tools across countriesManaging the business planning process for the business unit and the alignment with different stakeholders across finance and business teamsPerforming month end closing, reporting and highlighting required business interventionsSupporting financial evaluation of key projects and expansions, providing both commercial and financial assessment of plans

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Proven finance and business partnering experienceStrong academic background in Management/Finance/EconomicsRobust analytical & modelling skills requiredAdvanced user of Excel and SQLStrong communication skillsHas a superior attention to detailMust be comfortable working in cross-functional teamsDemonstrates strong ownership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Finance experience from retail or technology companies within an international environmentAbility to simplify and improve inefficient or complex processesAbility to operate at all levels, combining attention to details with understanding of broader business dynamicsCan successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and work to tight deadlinesStrong business judgment, paired with a data-driven approachKnowledge of VBA is desirable
